Are you fully licensed?

Why should I book direct with an owner?

We have owned our home since 2002 and invest our time and effort each year to update and maintain it to high standards.  This ensures year after year our guests are presented with a home that is exactly what you see on our pictures.  What you see is what you get! We manage all our own bookings personally so you get to know us and are always happy to answer any questions you may have at any time.

I see you have CCTV what areas does this cover?

We have installed CCTV around the perimeter of our home.  At no point do any of our cameras cover / overlook our pool deck area.  These are placed for security only.  They cover the front door / driveway / pool heater equipment and side of villa only.

Do we need pool heating?

It is recommended that you have the pool heated between October and April.  This should be requested at the time of booking.  If you decide to have the pool heated once you have arrived please be aware that it takes a minimum of 24 hours to heat the pool and is chargeable from the day it is turned on.  Our pool heater is set to 88 degrees, however, this does fluctuate depending on the ground temperature.

Do we need spa heating?

Our spa / hot tub is not connected to our pool, but a stand alone entity.  This is heated by yourself using the control panel on the spa itself.  The maximum temperature is 101 degrees.  Terms of use apply and can be seen in our villa information.

What housekeeping services are included?

The villa is thoroughly cleaned immediately before your arrival, and fresh linen & towels are provided.  As this is a self catering villa, there is no maid service.  Additional maid cleaning services are available on request and will be charged locally.   The pool will be checked & cleaned once a week and the lawns and gardens are also maintained weekly.

Do we need to bring anything with us?

Our home is equipped to be like a home from home, so just yourself and your clothes will do!  The villa is rented on a self-catering basis, so no food or cleaning supplies are provided.

Does the villa have laundry facilities?

Our home really is a home from home, complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, you will just need to provide your own laundry detergent.

Does the villa have internet access?

The villa has wireless (WiFi) broadband access provided free of charge. Log in details are available in the villa.

Is the villa suitable for young children?

Our villa is a totally family friendly villa. We provide a full range of nursery equipment free of charge, which includes cot, highchair, stroller [pushchair] travel cot, bed guards, sterilising equipment, bottle warmers, baby monitors plus much more! Not to mention our fully equipped games room!

Who can we contact if we have any problems?

Our property management company are based locally and are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A contact number is provided should you need assistance during your stay.

Does the villa have a BBQ?

We do not provide a BBQ for guests use for health and safety reasons.  These can be hired at your own cost from outside companies should you wish to use one.  Please be aware that charcoal grills are not permitted within the pool deck area.

Do we need to take towels?

We provide a cupboard full of towels in our villa, so no need to bring your own! Save the space in your luggage for all your shopping!

How do you gain access to the villa?

Prior to your arrival, the key for the front door will be placed in a secure key lock box fitted to the front porch area to our door. The key-box requires a 4 digit access code which will be issued to you prior to your arrival at the villa within your final details.

Do I need to take a hair-dryer?

Our villa is fully equipped with two hairdryers for your use.

Is smoking permitted in the villa?

Smoking is not permitted indoors in any part of the villa.  However, you may smoke outside on the pool deck area as long as ashtrays (provided) are used, emptied and cleaned after use. Smoking in rental villas and all other public or commercial indoor spaces is prohibited under the Florida Clean Indoor Air Act.

Are pets allowed in the villa?

Unfortunately, no pets of any description are allowed to stay in our villa.

Why is there a screen over the pool area?

The screen is made from a fine mesh and is there to provide you with the comfort of sitting out by the pool and not be bothered by wildlife / flying insects.  This screen does not stop the sun’s rays, therefore, precaution should be taken not to burn whilst out sunbathing or swimming in the pool.

Do I need a Visa / ESTA?

British Passport Holders who are travelling to the USA for business or tourist purposes, will need an ESTA VISA. You can apply Online at:
